"Amazing to work with!"

From the first call with Meg Amor to get a quote to the communication leading up to our move, to the excellent service from Johnny and Marcus (the Dream Team) who drove the truck, to follow up, Peet's Moving Services was amazing to work with. They were respectful, courteous, punctual, delivered on time and on budget and went the extra step too. Moving our 87 year old mum we asked Johnny and Marcus if they could wear masks (due to the rapid spread of Delta variant). They didn't have any in the truck so, on their own, stopped at a store, picked them up, and arrived fully masked and left them on whenever they were in our house and with our mum. They were kind and courteous and very respectful to our mother. We appreciated everyone involved in the move and would highly recommend them as efficient, cost-effective, and courteous and careful!

This is the second time I have used this company and we are just as pleased! The two guys sent this morning were extremely polite and helpful. They really know what they are doing, not to mention STRONG! Very careful not to damage anything moving big very heavy items out and in our new home. The two guys today stayed all day long and we were able to move our whole house-truly I am grateful to Bernie & Michael for sticking out a very hard day with us and leaving with a smile. I will definitely use Pete's moving services again should we need it.

We moved from Modesto to another state and Pete's did a great job with scheduling, promptness, timing, etc. Their customer service was excellent and their crews in both states were friendly, helpful and hard-working. The only issues were a couple of missing items and a couple of broken items, but overall I would definitely recommend them, especially for the very fair pricing they offer.

Due to unforseen circumstances my husband and I were forced to downsize from a 1,700 sq ft house with 3 bdr 2 ba and a 2 car garage to 880 sq ft house 2 bdr and 1 ba without a garage. The packing and loading/unloading of everything took approximately 8 hours. We had the men place every box in the correct room and they even set our bedroom furniture up for us! Those men were very professional and treated everything we owned as if it were their own stuff! My husband and I will be purchasing property next summer and we will be hiring Pete's Moving Services again. They made a stressful situation seem a lot better and for that alone we are truly grateful! We met strangers that morning and made friends by that afternoon. Thank you to all involved.We will see you all again for the final move as we enter into retirement and purchase our forever home next summer...

"This is by far the best moving company out there!!"

This is by far the best moving company out there!! No doubt about it!! Long story short, I needed to move my home from Manteca to Modesto somewhat last minute, and I had called multiple different companies and nobody could accommodate me. Not only was Pete’s super easy to get ahold of and schedule, they ask you serval questions to ensure that they are sending the proper crew and truck to your project. The person that answered and booked my move was fantastic. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable/helpful! After that they just continued to impress. Julian, Josh, and Geo showed up and did not stop working until the 32 truck was packed to the roof with no space wasted. I cannot say enough about how hard they worked!! They then even took the time to drop off the unwanted furniture to a donation center a long the way. I hope to not be moving any time soon but if I ever need to move again, Pete’s will be my first and only call!!

They called ahead and worked swiftly and professionally while also being kind to myself and my 12 1/2-year-old son who has high-functioning autism. They took special care with my artwork and precious items like family photos. I’m grateful I called Pete’s Moving Services. Sarah and Ashley at the front desk were also great! Confirmed my move a week prior and two days prior and the day before due to snowstorms in our area of Groveland, California. Lovely company, and I would definitely hire them again and will recommend them to anyone I know moving in the Sierra Nevada mountains and Modesto area, where the company’s home base is.

Excellent Experience with Pete's Moving Company. They went above and beyond to meet my moving schedule. Moving to Idaho in the Winter is not recommended, however, they made it happen for me even thru the worst storm and roadways in years.

I was responded to within ten minutes and was texting with a human. They asked particular questions to get me the best quote. They were able to send out a crew the very next morning! Hands down best moving service I've used. Mike and his partner arrived on time and ready to work even though it was 630 in the morning. They were all smiles and in good spirits as they worked. They were fast and efficient, slowing down only to make sure everything was wrapped and secured properly before going full speed again. They were quick unloading the truck in my new place in San Jose and even though you could tell they were tired, they were still all smiles. Especially after struggling to get the bed and couch through the very narrow door and stairwell. Pete gave me a very accurate and competitive quote over the phone and the next day I called back to confirm. On the day of my scheduled move, Mike and Sergey arrived right on time and worked very efficiently. They took special care of my belongings and not one single thing was damaged during the move. Used these guys to move, did a FANTASTIC job, would recommend and use again. We originally booked a move from a different moving company but 48hrs before the move we got a call that they couldn't do it and referred us to Pete's. The guys were fantastic! Pete said they would arrive to meet me at the uhaul spot between 9-10, I was shocked to get a call at 8:55 saying they arrived. Since when does a service provider arrive early?!?! The three guys took great care of our belongings when loading up the truck and wrapped up everything to ensure no scratches. We had some heavy dressers and an antique armoire and neither were an issue for Pete's guys. Unloading the furniture at our new place was a bit involved as we have hardwood floor and wanted to put felt pads under everything to prevent scratches. The guys were always willing to wait at the door while we put on the pads and never complained.

Wonderful service!! The gentlemen we encountered were extremely professional, honest, friendly and efficient. There was no hidden cost....everything upfront and Pete as well as the two young gentlemen that came the next day to load my mom's things into the van were a joy to deal with. I have never seen a van packed so tight yet secure (rest assured not one item was damaged even though the trip was from Modesto to San Diego)....all of the furniture were very well wrapped. I'm assuming some kind of Houdini magic must've taken place because I still can't understand how he got all of my mom's stuff in there!! I would certainly use them again and DEFINITELY recommend them should ever require moving services
